Farleigh Hospice Santa Fun Runs 2011 ‘Join the festive dash to raise cash! Register today for a Santa Fun Run near you and help support local families affected by life-limiting illnesses’ With the support of Amlin UK, Farleigh Hospice is delighted to invite you to join one of our Santa Fun Runs taking place this December. Chelmsford Santa Fun Run takes place on Sunday 4th December at Central Park and Maldon Santa Fun Run takes place on 11th December at Promenade Park. Both are 4km routes and are ideal for all ages and, with adults dressed in full Santa suits and children with their Santa hats (or their own special outfits if they prefer!), these fun runs are absolutely guaranteed to get you in the festive mood whilst supporting your local hospice at the same time! And don’t worry about having your own Santa suit - these are provided when you register to take part. Our fantastic Santas have raised over £100,000 in sponsorship money since the first run took place back in 2008. This money has been transformed into specialist care which is provided completely free of charge to local people affected by life-limiting illnesses. Why don’t you become a Farleigh Hospice Santa this December and play your part in helping to support families across mid-Essex, when and where they need it most? All Santas need to register prior to the event – simply register online right now at www.farleighhospice.org/santa or contact our events team on 01245 457408, or via email at events@farleighhospice.org. There is a £10 registration fee for adults and a £5 fee for children under 16, which includes a Santa suit for adults and older children and a Santa hat for younger children.
