Alexander
Brady Fine Furniture

Alexander Brady had a 22 year financial career in the City of
London. Prior to leaving the City in 2001 he was a Director of Interest Rate
Derivatives trading at UBS, Europe’s premier Investment Bank.

After honing his skills in a professional workshop in Devon he followed a life long ambition and set up Alexander Brady Fine
Furniture, making handmade furniture to commission at his home workshop in
Essex in 2003.

His association with the City came full circle in September of
that year when he was admitted to the Freedom of The Worshipful Company of
Furniture Makers.

He is a member of The Essex Craft Society committee and on The
Craft Council list of Makers.

Alex appeared on Meridian TV’s ‘That’s Esther’ in February 2004
and ‘Focus’ in December 2004.

Alexander Brady of Hatfield Peverel has again been invited to exhibit at
‘A

- Celebration of
Craftsmanship and Design’ in Cheltenham from 20-28 August.

- This exhibition is
considered by many to be the UK’s premier exhibition for Designer Craftsmen
with 75 of the country’s finest Makers participating.

- The event
promises
"an extensive selection of new and original work from
- some of
the most important furniture designers of this century and their
contemporaries".

Additionally he will be exhibiting at Dedham Assembly Rooms with the Essex
Craft Society
- 20-21
August.

crafts of a selected group of Essex makers chosen for the high quality of
